The coffee and açai is tasty, but the experience is ruined by the foul smell while standing by the truck. There is a very strong odour of sewage that is constantly around the truck that appears to be a broken toilet or sewage line. At one point I had to walk away as it was unbearable to stand and be inhaling it. A plumber needs to pay a visit as it is very unpleasant for customers

Dave and the team at Roots are providing some of the best coffee and vibes in Dublin. The new cafe in Dun Laoghaire is amazing, there’s plenty of seating, the coffee, toasties and pastries we had were delicious and I can’t wait to see them continue to succeed. Well done guys, we’ve found our new regular spot!

Tried the roots açai bowls a couple of times now. The first time was absolutely delicious, which made me come back. It was fresh and tasty and diverse with ingredients. The last time I went thet forgot to add the honey drizzle so it lacked the bit of sweetness I like, but I understand that it could have been due to the immense load from the long queue.

I ordered a blueberry matcha from here recently and, unfortunately, it was the worst matcha I’ve ever had. It was completely undrinkable.
The matcha wasn’t properly mixed at all — when I tried to drink it, there were just clumps and bits throughout, which made it really unpleasant. I also don’t think there was any blueberry syrup in it at all, as there was no taste of it.
I paid an extra €1 for the syrup, which felt quite expensive. I’ve never seen syrup priced that high anywhere else in Dublin — it’s usually around 50–60c.
Really disappointing overall, especially as I was looking forward to it.

Honest such lovely staff. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. So lovely getting an Acia bowl and cocao 🥰 Have it sitting on the beach or after the yoga event. Soul Healing ✨ Highly recommend 🙌🏻
